All Gravy
Saying something is all gravy means that it’s all good. No worries or problems, just good times ahead. Other words that can take this phrase’s place are Sweet, It’s all Good and even Irie.
Mack
A mack can mean a person who is smooth with the ladies. This guy will be hitting on chicks left and right – but tastefully. Mack can also be used as a verb that can describe the act of flirting/hitting on girls.
ill
Ill is used to refer to something that is way to cool it then becomes a little too sickening. This word also can mean having crazy reputable skills in a particular field that people have no choice but to respect.
G
G is actually short for gangster. This can be used as a term you call a homie as a form of endearment. In most cases, G is also used to refer to money as well in reference to $ 1000 or 1 grand.
Fly
This word refers to people who always dress well, smell good, got their hair did and end up looking like a stunna’ without forcing it. Being fly takes practice because people will be able to tell when it’s fabricated ya heard.
Flava
From the word flavor, Flava means a person’s own style that separates him or her from other people. This can be seen through the way they execute themselves, by utilizing their skills and owning it like no other.
Faded
Similar to Tipsy, Faded means being under an influence. It can be used to connote being drunk or stoned. Originally from the West Coast, this word has become synonymous with being high on anything.
Wack
Wack is used to refer something that’s just plain nasty. It comes from the word whacky, which evolved to whacked out and was shortened to wack. The h is dropped to differentiate it from the mafia term meaning to put on a hit.
Down Low
Keeping it on the down low means having information and only telling people that are sure to keep it on the hush hush. Although this has origins referring to homosexuality between black men, these words are common in the hip hop arena.
Kickin’ it
Kickin’ it is another term for hanging out with friends. When you kick it with your boys, you guys will just take it easy the whole night. In some context, this could also mean hooking up with someone.
